What do I need to use Pix Out?
Use one of the following:
- a valid Pix key;
- a valid Pix QR Code;
- a valid Pix Copy & Paste code.
Pix Out access may be rolled out progressively. If Pix is not shown in your Amulets account, the feature may not yet be available to you.
How is a Pix Out processed?
Pix Out uses a tokenization and redemption infrastructure to connect the user's Amulets balance with a Pix payment to the selected Brazilian recipient.
This is a high-level description of the flow. Internal implementation details that are not necessary to use Pix Out are not published.
Reporting, tax and declaration responsibilities
Pix Out is a payment functionality.
Amulets does not determine whether a specific transaction creates an individual tax, financial, or reporting obligation for a user.
Any applicable reporting, tax, or declaration obligations related to a user's transactions are the user's responsibility.
If a user is unsure how their own transactions should be reported, they should seek appropriate professional tax or legal guidance.
Refunds and reversals
How a refund or reversal is handled depends on the scenario.
If a merchant or recipient informs the user that a Pix payment was refunded but the funds have not returned to the Amulets balance, Support may request proof of the refund so the transaction can be investigated.
Other eligible reversal scenarios may be processed automatically when Amulets receives the reversal.
Refund timing varies by scenario; no fixed timeframe is guaranteed.
