To verify your identity and activate your Amulets account, you’ll need to submit one valid government-issued identification document. The system automatically validates documents in real time through our compliance partner.
Primary Identification Documents (Choose one):
Passport (recommended — must be valid and include photo)
National ID card (front and back)
Driver’s license (front and back)
Residence permit (for non-citizens or expatriates, where applicable)
Proof of Address (if required by region):
Some higher verification levels or regions may require a valid proof of address document, dated within the last 3 months:
Utility bill (electricity, water, gas, or internet)
Bank or credit card statement
Government-issued tax or residence certificate
Official lease agreement or rental contract
Selfie / Liveness Check:
A live selfie or video capture is required to confirm that the person submitting the documents matches the ID photo.
The process is automated and takes only a few seconds via Sumsub’s secure verification flow.
Important Notes:
All documents must be valid, clear, and unexpired.
Screenshots, black-and-white scans, or cropped images are not accepted.
The name and birthdate on your ID must match the data you registered in your Amulets account.
Submissions are automatically encrypted and handled under FinCEN and GDPR standards.
