At Amulets, we aim to maintain a transparent and secure refund process that follows applicable financial regulations and the settlement requirements of our payment partners.
Refunds are processed after they are approved and returned through the payment network. Because this process may include transaction verification, fraud-prevention checks, and settlement procedures with financial partners, Amulets cannot guarantee a specific refund timeframe.
These steps allow Amulets and its regulated partners to properly validate the returned funds and complete the settlement process in a secure and compliant manner.
How the Refund Process Works
Refunds generally follow the process below:
You request a refund directly from the merchant where the purchase was made.
The merchant initiates the refund through the appropriate payment network.
The returned funds move through the settlement process between the merchant and Amulets’ financial partners.
Once the refund is received and verified, Amulets credits the corresponding amount to your wallet in USDT.
Additional Information
All refunds are credited in USDT based on the value of the original transaction.
If a currency or digital asset conversion occurred during the payment, the refunded amount may vary slightly.
Amulets may request identity verification or additional documentation before completing a refund, including KYC/AML checks where required.
Processing times may vary depending on the merchant, the payment network, the user's jurisdiction, and the financial partners involved.
Non-Refundable or Limited Refund Situations
In certain situations, a refund may not be available or may be limited under Amulets’ Terms of Use and applicable financial regulations. These include, but are not limited to:
Transactions affected by incorrect wallet information provided by the user.
Transactions impacted by blockchain congestion or external network issues outside Amulets’ control.
Transactions that violate Amulets’ AML/KYC requirements or Terms of Use.
Situations involving suspicious, fraudulent, or prohibited activity.
Amulets reserves the right to deny or restrict refund processing when required by law, compliance obligations, or risk controls.
Frequently Asked Questions
• Can I speed up the refund process?
No. Refund timing depends on the merchant, the settlement process, and the payment partners involved. You can monitor the status of your refund in the app through your transaction history.
• Why might the refund amount be lower than what I originally paid?
In some cases, the merchant may deduct cancellation, service, or processing fees before issuing the refund. Amulets credits the amount that is ultimately returned through the payment network.
• Can I request a refund directly from Amulets instead of the merchant?
No. Refunds must first be initiated by the merchant. Amulets can only process the refund after the returned funds are received through the settlement network.
• Does the refund return in the same currency used for payment?
Refunds are credited in USDT based on the value of the original transaction. If a currency conversion occurred during the payment, the final refunded amount may vary slightly.
• Can a refund be canceled once it has started?
No. Once a merchant has initiated the refund and it has entered the settlement process, the transaction generally cannot be reversed.
• How will I know when the refund has been completed?
When the refund is processed, it will appear in your wallet and in your transaction history within the app.
